Azelaic Skin Peel

Azelaic Acid Peel 25% – p.H 3.5 – 4.5
Azelaic Acid Peel 25% is a superficial depth chemical peel used to treat acne and pigmentation typically in adults and darker skin types.

Azelaic acid is a naturally occurring acid found in grains such as barley, wheat and rye.

Semifluid gel, colourless, brilliant and almost odourless.

How it acts:
Azelaic acid is in a class of medications called dicarboxylic acids. It works to treat rosacea by decreasing the swelling and redness of the skin. It works to treat acne by killing the bacteria that infect pores and by decreasing production of keratin, a natural substance that can lead to the development of acne. It also prevents what’s known as melanin synthesis, the ability of your skin to produce pigments that can vary your skin’s tone.

Used to treat:
Mild to Moderate Acne
Acne Scarring
Rosacea / Couperose
Sensitive skin
(anti-inflammatory properties)
